Reality check

The sea is His, for He made it,
and His hands formed the dry land.
- Psalm 95:5

Reading this last night, I was reminded again about the fact that God, who is unseen, is, in a way, even more REAL than what is seen. I mean, I see things He made. He made them, so He is far more worth noticing and paying attention to!

A book I'm reading (The Divine Conspiracy by Dallas Willard) talks about this too.

The spiritual is more real than the physical. The seen will pass away - the unseen will last.
So why don't we live so much more in faith, trusting in the unseen - the permanent, the REAL?!

Shirley, you have a beautiful website. I hope you begin to write more and share more of your photographs as well.

Thank you for the photograph I used for my "Spiritual Weapon: Praises of God" post, and thank you for visiting my blog.

God bless you.
